  The 14th ALADIN Workshop was held from June 1 to June 4 at the Congress Center in Innsbruck. Diverse presentations were given about several aspects of the model including data assimilation, dynamics, physics, coupling, as well as problems in application and operational forecasting. Special focus was also put on the most recent developments for ALADIN2/AROME.   The 10th ALADIN workshop, dedicated to scientific progress and the evaluation of the second medium-term research plan , was organized in Toulouse on June 7-8. It was a real success, with 44 participants from 15 countries.   Theoretical training courses, exploring the leading-edge topics of NWP (high-resolution modelling, data assimilation, numerical methods) and open to the whole European NWP community, were organized regularly in the framework of ALATNET : ALADIN Training NETwork (2000-2004).
