The Olympic sites
The Olympic sites themselves are located in the vicinity of Paris, as well as inside the denser part of Paris itself. This inner part of Paris is one of the densest cities in the world, with a few high-rise buildings inside the motorway ring. The heterogeneity of the agglomeration, as well as its various components and end-users, rises new challenges for high-resolution Numerical Weather Prediction and Urban Meteorological services.
