Run Gelato in Surfex. Give control over ocean post-processing and rebuild. Run AGRIF. Handle SSS, SIC and SIT forcing .

Reminder : if you want to enforce backward compatibility for Oasis-3 and Trip 1 and/or have the coupling done by Arpege, you must write LCOMPAT_64=1 in your experiment parameter file.

• Ocean :
  • Full control of ocean diagnostics post-processing is now possible using parameter POSTOCE for setting a post-processing script. Default postprocessing script is ECLIS/toolbox/postoce_with_tar. A sibling script postoce_without_tar is also available
  • For standard post-processing, rebuilding Nemo ouptut can now be done using an alternate rebuild tool, that can be specified using ECLIS parameter REBUILD
  • Adapt and fix for allowing an AGRIF run, where the small scale model is disguised in the coupled component named NIS (the one initially dedicated to the Grisli model : NIS for Northern Ice Sheet). See Florence for details
  • ECLIS reports if NEMO crashed, by searching its output files

• Atmosphere :
  • Forcing files : their size is now checked also for T359

• Surface :
  • For runnning Gelato-1d in Surfex, handle the monthly update of Sea Surface Salinity SSS, Sea-Ice Cover SIC and Sea-Ice Thickness SIT in Surfex restart files. See FORSSS, FORSIC,FORIST. This implies (sorry, Martine) that if you provide an UPDCLI binary, it must be adpated to cases where the namelist has LARP=.F. and is much shorter than an Arpege namelist ;
  • Binary change_date_sfx_fa handles automatically SFX V7 and SFX V8 restart formats
  • prepare for NetCDF inputs to updcli

• General :
  • Let crash warning mail work on beaufix
  • Environment variables FTPUTOPT and FTGETOPT are used on beaufix as options provided to ’ftput’ file transfers.
  • Adapt to hendrix
