The pages contain lots of interesting material e.g. profiles, meteograms, charts of precip, fluxes, theta_e, PV, CAPE, wind, temperature and moisture. There are also cross sections and simulated Meteosat radiances.

The data policy at ECMWF is such that real time forecasts are not open to the public (they are owned by the member states), so the pages can not be public. However, people that take part in the AMMA can register and they will be issued with a user ID and password that can be used for a "web-login" which will give access to the AMMA forecasting pages.

The pages can be found by going to:
http://www.ecmwf.int/products/forecasts/d/charts/monitoring/amma/

This page has 4 entries related to sonde monitoring:
    * AMMA availability
    * AMMA vertical statistics: pilot
    * AMMA vertical statistics: radiosondes
    * AMMA radiosonde tephigrams

You should always be able to see these 4. If you have the proper access you will a see the 5th entry:
  * AMMA forecast charts

It can be accessed by doing a login (at the top of the page), for which you need a web user ID and password.

User ID and password can be obtained by sending a request to the ECMWF calldesk (calldesk@ecmwf.int) with a copy to Anton.Beljaars@ecmwf.int . It has to contain your name, address, email and it has to say that you are part of the AMMA project.
