ALADIN and ALATNET projects statistics

During the first weeks of January 2001, a huge cleaning of the ALADIN effort database has been completed. After many verifications (some of you certainly remain they had to answer such question as "did you arrive in Toulouse on January 3rd or January 7th in 1996 !"... or "do you remember the topics of your stay in GMAP in 1994 !"...).

Here are some of the statistics obtained with these data, updated on the 1st of January 2001 (other statistics on the general evolution of the project will be prepare for the 10 years anniversay).

The participation in the project is studied through different graphics :

• breakdown of peope.month by country,
• breakdown of participants by country,
• breakdown of person.month by money fundings.

Different kinds of participations are also studied.

"Total participation in the ALADIN project" means "effort of permanent people and people on stays in all ALADIN countries". This "Total participation" is presented from different important dates of the project :

• since the beginning in 1991
• since the last quarter of 1995 : beginning of registration of the deported work (local workstation version of ALADIN)
• since July 1998 : beginning of Prague/LACE center operations
• since April 2000: beginning of ALATNET project

"Toulouse participation" means ALADIN effort realized in Toulouse.

"Prague/LACE participation" means ALADIN effort realized in Prague in the framework of LACE activities.

Some specifical statistics are produced for stays : mean lengh of stays, part of training.

The evolution of active participants in the project is illustrated (versus the total nomber of participants since the beginning of the project).

With ALATNET, some new statistics appear : the first statistics on the ALATNET effort (i.e. the effort on the ALATNET subjects) in the ALATNET centers are presented here.
