Modélisation numérique de la neige :

  • Utilisation de prévisions météorologiques d’ensemble et d’algorithmes d’ensemble d’assimilation de données
  • Développement de schémas multiphysiques dans le modèle SURFEX-Crocus
  • Application à la prévision du risque d’avalanches et à l’hydrologie en milieu alpin
  • Application aux projections saisonnières et climatiques de l’enneigement

 Autres activités

  • Développements numériques du modèle SURFEX-Crocus (phasage des versions, gestion des IO et post-traitements, optimisations, développements en support aux autres chercheurs du CEN, support aux utilisateurs externes).
  • Déploiement opérationnel et suivi technique de la chaîne S2M (SAFRAN-SURFEX-MEPRA), en support aux activités opérationnelles de Météo-France en termes de prévision du risque d’avalanche.
