Surfex-Crocus

Since 2010, new developments of the Crocus snow model have been performed in the SURFEX environment, where Crocus is one of the snowpack schemes of the land surface model ISBA. The different versions of the model are managed through different branches of a git repository (Version Control System).

The operational version used in the SAFRAN-SURFEX-MEPRA (S2M) application in 2019 corresponds to branch cen, tag s2m_oper_2019

The last official version released in SURFEX is available in the last revision of the master branch but the most up-to-date stable version of Crocus is available in the last revision of the cen branch. A development branch cen_dev may include some even more recent developments but generally not yet stable.

The old standalone version of Crocus (without SURFEX) is not used anymore.
The old svn repository of SURFEX is not used anymore.
