Chercheuse depuis 2003 et je travaille dans l’équipe VILLE du CNRM depuis 2007. Mes activités portent sur l’étude du climat urbain, par la modélisation numérique et l’observation. Ces deux approches visent tout d’abord à étudier et comprendre les processus physiques qui s’établissent en milieu urbain, et à améliorer les paramétrisations des modèles numériques pour mieux représenter l’hétérogénéité de l’environnement. Ces approches alimentent aussi une démarche interdisciplinaire, orientée vers l’amélioration du cadre de vie en ville, intégrant la dimension du climat urbain, et l’évaluation de stratégies d’adaptation pour limiter les vulnérabilités urbaines au changement climatique. Sous la dynamique de plusieurs projets de recherche et collaborations, j’ai largement investigué le cadre méthodologique des études d’impacts, tant sur la prise en compte des effets du changement climatique à l’échelle des villes, que sur la mise en œuvre de stratégies de modélisation intégrée et d’évaluation multicritères des scénarios d’adaptation des villes. Plus récemment, j’aborde les interactions entre villes et climat par une modélisation climatique couplée à haute résolution, toujours orientée vers les études d’impacts.
