Launch of the first stratospheric balloon

The first balloon has been launched successfully on 9 September, at 9 hours local time.
Météo-France is providing special assistance for the balloon launches with forecasts at fine scale over the area, which complement other outputs from routine operational model (ECMWF and AMPS mainly).

This is the trajectory, past and predicted of the balloon, provided by LMD, with trajectory data from CNES and ECMWF wind forecasts as input to the trajectory prediction
